Leadership Consultation
Literacy Leadership Strategy
Receive consultation on how to boost adolescent reading, writing, and critical thinking skills and establish a schoolwide vision and plan for literacy achievement. The strategy includes data analysis and assessment, strengths-based coaching for secondary literacy, secondary literacy interventions, and program evaluation and refinement.
Literacy Coaching
Professional Development Support
Engage in strengths-based coaching for secondary literacy. We provide coaching to content-area teachers, helping them to integrate reading, writing, and thinking skills specific to their discipline. This involves coaching cycles, modeling and co-teaching, targeted instructional feedback, and apprenticeship model implementation.

A consultant collaborates with leaders to improve adolescent literacy development and on how to build a schoolwide literacy plan and coaching program. This involves an initial assessment, ongoing implementation, and evaluation.
Literacy Coaching
A coach collaborates with teachers to plan for and implement secondary literacy instruction through modeling and co-teaching, coaching cycles, and targeted feedback. This includes goal setting, analyzing data, and reflecting on practices to build teacher capacity and improve student outcomes.
Interactive Workshops
A facilitator guides the learning of participants by using elements of group coaching, collaborative discussions, brainstorming or other small group activities, and peer learning to support teachers' implementation of secondary literacy instruction, ultimately to improve student academic success and achievement.
